Chapter 7.1: Imperial Uncle, I Can’t Walk Anymore
The Prince Regent, Long Moshen, was the dynasty’s only prince with a different surname, one whom people call Nine Thousand Years, truly subservient to only one man and above all others. He came into prominence ten years ago, helped the previous Emperor expand their territories, and was seen as an esteemed and treasured personnel by the previous Emperor, and the two of them even became sworn brothers. For all the great assistance rendered, the previous Emperor bestowed upon him the title of Prince Regent, a person that even the succeeding Emperor was wary of.

Ruling Emperors are usually greeted “Long live ten thousand years” and the form of address “Nine Thousand Years” might mean that the person’s position is below just one man, the Emperor himself who is considered the Son of Heaven, and stood above all others.)
He held very high and profound cultivation, at least at the Spirit King’s level, and it was said that his cultivation was even higher before he became crippled!

Ximen Kang hated this Imperial Uncle very much, because he had been standing just beside them back when Long Moshen had killed his two obstinate Imperial Brothers, and the blood had splattered all over him. From then on, whenever he saw Long Moshen, a bout of fear and terror would creep into his heart out of nowhere.
Mu Ningxue had also moved to the side of the street, her eyes fixed tightly upon the sedan, a surge of complicated emotions showing up in her gaze. Mu Wushuang slumped to the ground in the middle of the street, and vomited out a mouthful of blood, weakened and unable to move.
Ximen Kang heaved a sigh of relief. Looks like Mu Wushuang was really almost done, seemingly unable to even stand by herself. Although he did not manage to kill her, he would be able to borrow the Prince Regent’s hand to have that girl executed!
“Who stands in the way! ? Quickly leave and depart!”
The towering tall guard carrying a large blade shouted loudly as he pointed a finger at Mu Wushuang.
