Chapter 35.3: Smash That Mouth Off His Face
“Good that it doesn’t hurt. From today onwards, you shall be my sparring partner.”
“Yes, Young Miss! Huh? Young Miss wants your subordinate to spar with you?” Yun Hao nodded his head immediately but his mouth then fell wide open after he realized what Mu Wushuang just said. He then shook his head. “That won’t do. I am afraid that I might accidentally hurt the Young Miss.”
“Don’t worry. Just don’t use any spirit powers. You will not hurt me then.” Mu Wushuang quickly replied to the man.
She wanted to lose weight, and the best way to do that would be to carry out a great deal of exercise. This body of hers was heavy and it would not be difficult for her to lose weight but it would not be enough to do it by dieting alone. She had planned out a weight loss regime for herself and besides having to go for a morning run daily, she would also do it by sparring with others.
She might have called it sparring but she meant getting into a fight with others, which would force her to summon up every bit of her energy. In this way, the effect would be much greater than doing it just by running.
A pity they did not have elixirs to lose weight here in this world, otherwise she would just have to take a pill to slim down, which would save her a lot of time.
“I cannot do it even without using my spirit powers, Young Miss. Fists and kicks are blind in a fight and your subordinate is afraid that I might really hurt you.” Yun Hao was adamant.
“Young Miss Mu, all of the guards selected to serve in the Prince Regent’s palace practice dual cultivation in both spirit powers and martial arts, so even if Yun Hao reins in his spirit powers, he is still a level four pugilist.”
Another guard chirped in.
Many of the guards nodded their heads in agreement, with scorn showing in their eyes. They had all quickly assumed that Mu Wushuang was a useless good for nothing who did not know anything but after seeing what happened to Yun Jie, no one dared to show their feelings outwardly.
Oh?
Mu Wushuang’s interest was piqued. She was trained in all kinds of killing techniques in her previous life, every single one vicious and lethal. She had been afraid that she might hurt these people but it seems like she had been worried for nothing.
“It’s alright. Come at me.”
She stretched her limbs to limber herself up and then curled a finger towards Yun Hao.
Yun Hao had no choice but to have a go at her.
“Young Miss, take this!”
He soared up into the air, his leap quick like the wind, as he aimed at punch right towards Mu Wushuang’s shoulder.
If she does not manage to dodge, he would just need to lift his arm slightly for his strike to hit nothing but air.
Mu Wushuang did not dodge as she fixed her eyes on Yun Hao, looking as if she had seen through the bluff.
Everyone saw that she did not move to dodge, and thought that she was paralaysed with fear, unable to move. They started to shake their heads in disdain, mocking smiles coming to show on their faces.
Who would have thought, that Mu Wushuang would suddenly make a move right at that instant? She lifted a palm, and with just a light push, she parried Yun Hao’s fist to the side. With a twist, she grabbed his wrist and gave it a sharp tug, and Yun Hao was pulled powerfully forward a step.
And she remained standing steady as a mountain in her spot.
Yun Hao’s face was one of shock. If he had not pulled his strength back in the nick of time, he wouldn’t have just been pulled forward a single step. He had felt the force from her hand, She had clearly not used much of her strength but it had felt brutally heavy, and it could have broken his hand right off!
Frowns creased up on all the other guards’ faces and they thought that Yun Hao was just putting on an act, and was trying to win Mu Wushuang’s favour.
