Chapter 113.3: Killed
“Be patient. The Sect Leader of the Martial God Sect has sent people out to investigate and gather information.” Helian Yuan replied.
“What is there to investigate! ? Father sent news over personally to say that people from the God Slayers Palace came to the Nine Heavens Continent at the same time as us, so they must be the ones who went to the phoenix lost ruins just one step ahead of us!”
Helian Duo said with irrepressible rage.
“I want to know how many people from the God Slayers Palace are here.”
Helian Yuan told the young woman.
The footprints had told him there was one male and one female. It would match up only if there was a woman among the people from the God Slayers Palace. Otherwise, they would be targeting the wrong people.
Although the Nine Heavens Continent was a low level continent, the place produced quite a number of great entities back in ancient times, or the lost ruins of the phoenix would not be here in this place.
So, maybe there would be some kind of an unexpected discovery.
“Duo Er, do not underestimate the people here in the Nine Heavens Continent.”
He reminded Helian Duo, to prevent this spoilt and unruly little sister of his from getting herself in trouble with her arrogance and contempt for people.
Helian Duo scoffed and laughed.
“They’re just a bunch of country bumpkins and not a single one of them is worthy of any attention. But in regards to that Crown Prince Song, Big Brother, why don’t we take him back with us? He is quite talented and would surely make a name for himself in future. The spirit energy in the air here is too thin and isn’t even half of what we have back home, Their skills and techniques here are also rudimentary at best. I really do not know how these people can live in such a manner.”
“We’ll talk about that another time.”
At that moment, Gongsun Hai was outside, seeking an audience.
“Come in.”
“Young Master, Young Miss, this old man managed to gather some news. People from the God Slayers Palace have indeed come here to the Nine Heavens Continent. It was just several hours ago and they were received by people from the Great Spirit Sect. There are a total of four people, three men and one woman, and one of them is the Young Lord, Gu Xinghai just like you said.”
“Gu Xinghai is really here! ?”
Helian Duo shot to her feet. “What is the woman’s name?”
“I think she’s called Tang Zixin.”
“That wicked demoness is here too!” Helian Duo cried out indignantly. Gu Xinghai was her Big Brother’s arch rival and this Tang Zixin was hers!
“But…..” Gongsun Hai said hesitantly.
“But what?”
“Two of those men were killed and both Gu Xinghai and Tang Zixin are gravely injured.”
“What?”
Helian Yuan stood up in surprise. “Were you able to find out who the culprit was? Weren’t they received by the Great Spirit Sect? How did they get killed?”
Helian Yuan wasn’t being concerned about the lives of the people from the God Slayer Palace, but just found the news incredulous. Who could have killed them?
