Chapter 104.1: Different Treatment
“Because you smell. Keep away from me.”
Mu Wushuang said as she gave Mu Ningwei a disgusted look.
“Pffft!”
Both Song Yiyang and Mu Yuheng burst out laughing.
The scent on Mu Ningwei’s body couldn’t really be called smelly at all. It was actually a kind of fragrance, one that Mu Ningwei purchased two days ago based on the scent she smelled on Mu Wushuang, but it just turned out to become like a bad imitation here.
The fragrance on Mu Wushuang’s body was just a light faint scent, natural and ladylike, a refreshing one that felt like the sky clearing up, getting one’s blood pumping and excited, and their hearts to hop around like deer fawns.
But the fragrance that Mu Ningwei bought was really too strong, the scent a little overpowering, causing people to want to keep a few feet’s distance away from her.
Pricked by Mu Wushuang’s undisguised disdainful demeanor and contemptuous tone, Mu Ningwei’s face turned green and then flushed red. She turned her head to look at the other people, and found most of them sniggering behind their hands, not a single person thinking that Mu Wushuang’s words were hurtful.
Just because one had great looks and they can do whatever they pleased?
Mu Ningwei’s eyes turned red at the rims, and she turned to look at Xu Yuan with tears almost brimming over.
Xu Yuan could not make himself stay still and watch any longer. His brows knitted up and he came walking over to say.
“Miss Mu, Weiwei merely came over to invite you kindly, it’s fine if you do not want to go, but did you have to ridicule Weiwei like that?”
“Ridicule?” Mu Wushuang raised her head and her good looking eyebrow arched up. A corner of her lips lifted slightly and she said.
“I was just stating a fact. How did that turn into ridicule? Doesn’t the Holy Son think that the smell on her body is really bad?”
It was true that Xu Yuan did not like the smell on Mu Ningwei’s body, as it smelled like the flowers of a Persian Silk tree he remembered, an overwhelmingly powerful sweet scent that often made a person dizzy, and it made him subconsciously stand slightly further away from the young woman whenever she came close to him.
It wasn’t because he did not like the young woman, but it was actually due to his dislike of the smell on her body.
But he could not very well nod his head to agree that the smell was rather pungent before so many people, as that would really embarrass Weiwei greatly.
Just as he was about to shake his head to disagree, he heard Mu Wushuang laugh softly and say: “See, even the Holy Son is hesitating to reply. That clearly shows that the smell on her is really just awful.”
Mu Ningwei’s face was one of utter disbelief. Xu Yuan had always been unwavering faithful to her! How could he possibly turn his back on her like this! ?
“I wasn’t…..” Xu Yuan tried to explain.
Mu Ningwei covered her ears with her hands, and shouted: “I do not want to hear it!”
The ends of Mu Wushuang’s lips curved up, and she walked away from there.
As a good little brother, Mu Yuheng was the first one to follow.
“Lin Yu” and Song Yiyang then similarly raised their foot at the same time to walk away immediately after as well.
Song Yiyang threw “Lin Yu” a look filled with enmity. He had invited Wushuang to come on this trip for him to get closer to her. Why is there suddenly another rival that is fighting for Wushuang’s attention with him! ?
