Chapter 105.1: Birth of A Divine Beast

Mu Wushuang had a lot of interaction with animals in her previous life, and she found that animals were a hundred times more pure and genuine than humans.

It was the same now. The demon beasts were showing her true affection and she was genuinely gentle with them.

Although the demon beasts were reluctant to leave, upon hearing her command, all of them climbed to their feet and retreated away.

The sad reluctant looks on the demon beasts faces was something that Song Yiyang and Mu Yuheng had never seen before, making them realize that demon beasts could show such human emotion.

In moments, the horde of demon beasts have receded away like tide waters.

Besides the trampled twigs and grass on the ground, it looked like the demon beasts had never been there.

Song Yiyang’s feelings were a little complicated. No wonder he had thought that it seemed there were a lot less demon beasts here in the mountain fringes compared to the previous times he came here. He guessed that it must be because of Wushuang, as the demon beasts did not dare to come forward without hearing her summons.

But… Does she have anything to do with what happened to the Ninth Elder last night?

However, he could not help feeling a little happy inside that Wushuang had not hid from him when she summoned those demon beasts, conveniently forgetting about the fact that Mu Yuheng and “Lin Yu” were also present and just went on ahead to think that the young lady did not hide it from him because she did not see him as an outsider.

As for what happened to the Ninth Elder, he believed that Wushuang would not harm a person for no good reason, and the problem lay with the Ninth Elder. Moreover, he wasn’t the only one who knew about the Ninth Elder’s character in the Martial God Sect.

So he did not give it any more thought. Since Wushuang chose to trust him, he would naturally trust her as well.

So what if Wushuang had been the one responsible? As the Crown Prince of the East Dawn Country, would he be unable to back her up on that?

“Spirit Bind Vine?”

All of a sudden, Mu Wushuang’s eyebrow arched up, and she started walking towards a tree with a look of surprise on her face.

A slender weaving green sprout stretched up the tree’s trunk, its translucent blood coloured roots penetrating into the trunk, like it was sucking out nutrients from the tree.

“What’s Spirit Bind Vine?”

Song Yiyang followed the direction of her gaze and asked in puzzlement.

“Wushuang, you’re talking about this? This is just a common type of wild tree vine, a rather useless plant. But the plant is very strong and highly resilient, as we’ve seen cultivators try to burn them with fire but to no avail. I do not think that it is the Spirit Bind Vine that you mentioned.”

Long Moshen turned to look at his woman and nodded. “This is Spirit Bind Vine.”

Whoa!

Within the hidden shadows, Long Yi silently gasped to himself. Is that really the legendary Spirit Bind Vine?
