Chapter 106.1: Woman of Destiny
Mu Wushuang and her group were not very far away from the main troops, and they reached the camp in just a while.
Everyone there was jittery with unease from the strange tremors that rocked the ground and many of them were eager to pack up to go home.
However, everyone then came to see bright multi coloured rainbow light beams streaking across the sky, which signalled that something with power above the Spirit King level was passing through the air above, and it was making its way towards the deep inner reaches of the mountain range.
Mu Ningxue then said to Mu Ningwei.
“Maybe a phenomenal treasure is about to manifest, otherwise we wouldn’t see so many pugilists making their inside. Go ask your Master and see what his thoughts are about this.”
“Phenomenal treasure?”
Mu Ningwei’s eyes lit up.
When she was still very young, Lady Wang had brought her to have her fortune told, and it was said that she was a woman of destiny, a phoenix among men, and her future was boundless and inestimable!
Seems like she was really a woman of great destiny!
The moment she came here to the Fallen Cloud Mountain Ranges, and a mysterious treasure was immediately about to manifest. What did that prove? That just proves that she was destined for an extraordinary life, and that is causing the phenomenal treasure to appear!

When that thought came to mind, Mu Ningwei’s pretty face broke into a brilliant smile.
She went over to look for the grim faced Ninth Elder and asked.
“Master, could some phenomenal treasure be appearing in the inner reaches of these mountains and that was what caused the ground to shake so violently?”
The Ninth Elder glanced at the young woman, and found that she seemed to have grown more beautiful than before. Maybe it was because of that bright smile on her face. He then thought to himself: Though Mu Wushuang is a flawless beauty, but that young lady did not possess the slightest bit of cultivation. He had just picked up a dual cultivation skill recently, and his obedient little disciple might be able to try it out together with him.
With that idea in mind, the Ninth Elder’s gaze flashed with a vile glint. “My good disciple, you seek to have that mysterious treasure?”
When Mu Ningwei saw that foul look on the her Master’s face, she immediately knew that he was harbouring insidious thoughts in his mind.
But she wasn’t afraid. She was the woman of destiny, so she would inadvertently have to make use of a few stepping stones in life, and the Ninth Elder was just one of them.
Hence, the smile on her face brightened further as she said: “When a phenomenal treasure manifests, who wouldn’t want to have it? As Master dotes on your good disciple so much, can Master lead your disciple here to go claim the treasure?”
“It’s not entirely impossible, but as Master suffered quite a big hit to my inner core, the trip would further tax my weakened body quite a bit. When has my disciple ever seen your Master do anything that does not do me any benefit before?”
