Chapter 112.1: Soar to the Top Branch to Become a Phoenix
Song Yiyang’s communication jade manual lit up. After reading it, his brows immediately creased together.
“Guards!”
“Your subordinate is here!”
“Cut down the trees and level the woods around here before we re-erect the entire camp. Also send someone back to the palace to bring the best equipment and items for the Royal Family’s use as quickly as possible.” Song Yiyang ordered the guard.
“Did something happen?”
Mu Wushuang came over to ask the Crown Prince.
Why did they need to re-erect the camp out of the blue? Is the Emperor coming here in person?
“Grandfather told me that two high entities have come and we must treat them with the highest respect. But this Crown Prince just cannot fathom what kind of people they might be.”
Song Yiyang replied.
One should know that Song YIyang’s grandfather was the Martial God Sect’s Sect Leader, his sect third in rank throughout the Nine Heavens Continent, and all cultivators had to give that man some level of face wherever he went. For such a man to make preparations to such an extent to receive the guests, it was clear to see that these two high entities were definitely not nobodies.
Mu Wushuang had not been oblivious to that. It was feared that there wasn’t more than a handful of people that could make the Sect Leader of the Martial God Sect treat them with such solemn respect.
But by doing that, re-erecting the entire campsite would mean that they would be staying here in the Fallen Cloud Mountain Range for a good period. Looks like she would not be able to leave for a while more.
And she did not know when the phoenix egg in her dimensional space would hatch. When the divine beast is born, a strange phenomenon will come to show in the sky. The dimensional space would not be able to cover that up and she would immediately be targeted by the masses!
“Little Viper, go check out who these guests are.”
Walking over to a more private corner, Mu Wushuang then released the Silver Heart Viper hidden in her sleeve.
It was the same Silver Heart Viper she had used to kill Mu Ningxuan previously. Mu Wushuang had been feeding it with elixirs all this time and that little beast had advanced from level four into level five, it’s skills in concealment now more powerful and it’s spirit consciousness growing more intelligent, which made it perfect for gathering intel.
The Silver Heart Viper that was just the size of a bamboo leave then slithered noiselessly away.
The place was a frenzy of activity as the reconstruction got underway. A Spirit King level guard flew the entire way back to the Royal Palace and brought back all sorts of items meant for the Royal Family’s use in his storage ring. In a matter of several hours, the entire place had become resplendent and highly luxurious.
Other people who had left the camp in search of the treasure came back to the campsite before sundown, and they had naturally returned empty handed, with a couple of them having fallen prey to ferocious demon beasts.
