Chapter 115.2: Stunned!
As for Mu Wushuang, she went into the inner reaches of the mountain range and found herself a cave to hide in, before summoning a group of level six demon beasts to keep guard outside.
She quickly went into the dimensional space to inspect the phoenix egg.
The shell on the phoenix egg was quickly turning transparent and she could see that a tiny little chick was gradually taking form inside, its heart beating strong and steady, and it felt as if only its heartbeat could be heard in there.
“It looks so ugly!”
Mu Wushuang exclaimed disdainfully.
The chick inside the egg had not grown a single feather yet, the skin on its entire body crinkled up and bare, and strands of its blood vessels together with the strongly pumping heart could be seen.
This was supposed to be a divine beast! It was supposed to exude magnificence and awe!
But this looks like a sick little chick!
Right after Mu Wushuang’s scornful words came out, a “crack” sounded, and the shell of the egg starting to break.
“Mistress, don’t scorn at it like that! It already has its own consciousness, and it’s about to come out!”
Little Bird said excitedly.
“Mistress, our dimensional space will not be able to withstand the birth of a divine beast. Hurry up and move it outside quickly!”
Little Vermillion said in a steady and composed voice.
When a divine beast is born, it would absorb an inestimable amount of spirit energy from Heaven and Earth, something that the limited dimensional space would not be able to withstand.
Mu Wushuang immediately transferred the phoenix egg outside, thinking to herself that if the little chick already possessed a conscious mind, wouldn’t that mean that it would have heard her throw scorn at it earlier?
It was just a slip of tongue!
She told herself that she would never call it ugly ever again. Mm, at most, she would just say that quietly in her mind.
“Crack… Crack!”
The shell of the egg was breaking up more quickly!
Is it possible that the little chick was even able to read her thoughts?
“Crack! !”
The eggshell broke into pieces!
A tiny sick looking chick…. No no… A tiny little phoenix opened its eyes, and glared fiercely at her!
Mu Wushuang was puzzled. “???”
It really heard what she said just now?

Its eyes widened and glared at her more intensely!
Mu Wushuang blinked her eyes in bewilderment.
It seemed like the little phoenix did not have time to “settle scores” with that young lady at that moment.
A boundless amount of spirit energy surged in freely from everywhere between Heaven and Earth, cleansing the little phoenix’s entire body. Thunder and lightning rocked the skies, the commotion on a scale as that was not inferior to a powerful entity undergoing Heaven’s tribulation.
