Chapter 124.2: Heaven’s Pride Grand Meet

 

“She is a useless inept and has absolutely no talents to speak of, so she would definitely have a very short lifespan. Big Brother is the Helian Family Clan’s prodigy, the future Family Head, and our parents will not let you marry someone like her. There is no way that you will come to see a good end with her!”

Those words made Helian Yuan start to think. He had felt like his heart was held in Mu Wushuang’s soft frail hand, and his mind just wished for nothing more than to be able to only revolve around her.

When he said that he wanted to marry her, it was said in a moment of impulse. With his status and position, he could not possibly marry a woman who had no absolutely no foundation and possessed such weak talent.

But he would still be able to keep her as a pampered woman, and allow her to live the rest of her life worry free and in happy bliss. Even if he were to tire of her in future, he would not abandon her.

Wouldn’t that be enough for her?

Helian Yuan then told Helian Duo everything that was on his mind.

Helian Duo was rather taken aback. She had thought that her elder brother would marry no one but only Mu Wushuang. Never had she thought……

But it was to be expected. With her elder brother’s status and position, who was Mu Wushuang at all? How could she possibly become the Lady of the Helian Family Clan? 

So her elder brother merely saw Mu Wushuang as a golden canary that he would keep. And she had gotten so angry with him, unable to swallow her indignance.

“Big Brother should have told me earlier! Wasn’t it all for your own good that I was so angry? But since you have no intention of marrying Mu Wushuang, your younger sister here will definitely help you to coax her to follow you back.”

Helian Duo said with a sweet smile.

She’ll wait till they are back in the Vast Sea Continent before she’ll make Mu Wushuang see the difference between her and her elder brother, so that her elder brother will quickly get tired of her!

“Duo Er, Big Brother was a little too harsh with my words earlier. You must not take it to heart.”

Helian Yuan said with remorse. Duo Er had reacted like that for his own good and his tone might have been a little too much.

Helian Duo laughed as she shook her head. She was not blaming her elder brother, but it was that sultry vixen Mu Wushuang who was to blame.

“Big Brother, let me go apologize to Miss Mu right this instant so that she’ll follow you back.”

Helian Duo looked up smilingly to say.

“Alright. I’ll have to trouble Duo Er.”

Helian Yuan said as he patted his younger sister on the head.

Waiting till Helian Yuan had disappeared from her line of sight, the look on Helian Duo’s face then turned sinister.

“This Young Miss has never detested a person as much as this. Mu Wushuang, wait till you are in the Vast Sea Continent and see how you’ll be tormented by the Young Miss here good and proper.”

She did not believe that Mu Wushuang would not want to go. Mu Wushuang did not really mean it when she rejected her elder brother. Who could possibly want to remain in such a lousy and miserable place like the Nine Heavens Continent? Who would really refuse the chance for them to advance into a higher level realm?

Mu Wushuang was just pretending to play hard to get and must be in absolute bliss inside!

She would lower herself just for now, and help her elder brother coax Mu Wushuang into agreeing to follow him back to the Vast Sea Continent.
