Chapter 19.1: Dimensional Space, Elixir Cultivation

She remembered discovering this body’s meridians were very narrow, and her talent for cultivation was zero.

And it was said that the Nine Heavens Continent had not seen a spirit body of divinity for several hundred years!

“It is only because Mistress’ meridians are clogged that is causing you to be unable to cultivate. What a pity that the eye of the spirit spring has dried out, otherwise Mistress’ problem would be immediately resolved by just soaking yourself in there, which would also expand your meridians. We also have myriad herbs growing all around outside, so Mistress can refine your own elixirs to cure yourself of your clogged meridians.” The handsome youth, Little Bird, chirped happily.

With clogged meridians being mentioned, Mu Wushuang scoffed coldly in contempt, thinking that the condition must have been caused by the vicious hand of this original body’s second uncle from the branch family. It was because when this body’s original owner’s younger brother was born, their parents mysteriously went missing all of a sudden. It was said that they were dead, but their bodies still have not been found till now. Old Lord Hou then put the original owner of this body under her second aunt’s care, and her second aunt claimed that the little girl was weak and frail, feeding her medicine every single day, which went on uninterrupted for ten whole years.

All medicine will always be part drugs which would be toxic in some way or another. Having taken medicine everyday for so many years, and being placed under the care of her second uncle’s family who would have loved to see her become crippled in cultivation, how surprising is it that her meridians were now all clogged up? 

And it was not just clogging up her meridians. Her second aunt had brought her up to develop a rude and unreasonably unruly personality, stuffing her up till she grew fat as a pig. No matter in terms of her words, mannerism or looks, it wouldn’t be too much to call her an absolutely useless moron. With such a useless good for nothing set as such a contrasting example, the second aunt’s daughters easily gained a good name and high repute for themselves in the Imperial Capital.

If not for the fact that her beautiful looking younger brother was brought up by Grandfather himself, he would most definitely have grown up to become unable to practice any cultivation like her as well.
