Chapter 28.2: Ptui! Utterly Shameless!

At that moment, a bath towel was laid over her to cover her body, completely shielding her body that had become scandalously exposed by her thoroughly soaked clothes, leaving only her head to be visible.

Mu Wushuang turned her head around to look at the Imperial Uncle, and found that the man had turned his expressionless face to look away.

The corners of Mu Wushuang’s lips arced up very slightly. She discovered that the Imperial Uncle wasn’t really a very bad person.

The moment Liu Jiaojiao came in, the first thing she saw was Mu Wushuang and HIs Highness sharing the bath while holding hands. She suddenly felt a jolt in her heart, her feet suddenly became light, and she almost took a tumble.

However, His Highness did not seem to have noticed anything, his face remained impassive and expressionless, which hurt her immensely.

Seeing that, Feng Yun could feel the lady cousin’s pain and he stared at Mu Wushuang with an expression as if he was looking at some great nefarious enemy of his, his eyes flashing with contempt and disdain. In just half a day’s time, that ugly girl already could not wait to tether her hooks onto His Highness, shamelessly jumping into His Highness’ bath. He really has not seen such a shameless and immoral girl!

“Brother cousin, Jiaojiao prepared this tonic soup especially for you. It will be a full moon night very soon and you must make sure your body gets proper nourishment.” Liu Jiaojiao’s cold freezing hands that had turned red and sore from the cold took the pot of soup from Feng Yun. She then picked up a small bowl and was about to pour out a serving of soup when her hand shook slightly, accidentally dropping the bowl onto the floor.

“Lady cousin! Are you alright! ?” Feng Yun exclaimed frantically.

“It’s all my fault. I can’t even hold a bowl properly.” Liu Jiaojiao said with a pale face, her eyes filled with self reproach and aggrievement.

“How can lady cousin blame yourself for this? It is because of the heavy blizzard blowing outside that was beating upon your thin frail body when you stood out there for so long, and your hands have become frozen stiff.” Feng Yun said with his brows deeply furrowed, as he shot Mu Wushuang a sharp glance out of the corner of his eyes. If that girl had not come to pester His HIghness, the lady cousin would not have needed to stand outside for so long.

“That is thoughtful.” Long Moshen said monotonously, without showing any emotion on his face.

“For Brother cousin, Jiaojiao is willing to do anything for you. A task like this is nothing at all.” Liu Jiaojiao’s face was shy and bashful. She then smiled and turned towards Mu Wushuang and asked: “Is Little Sister feeling unwell as well? I don’t know if Brother cousin’s medicinal bath will be effective for Little Sister at all.”

Mu Wushuang had not thought that her leisurely soak in a hot bath would cause Liu Jiaojiao to turn the conversation around and make her a topic out of it. Mu Wushaung then stretched lazily and replied in a nonchalant tone: “I am not feeling particularly unwell anywhere, but Imperial Uncle was the one who insisted on pulling me in, so I thought I’ll just accompany him for a soak.”

Utterly shameless!

Feng Yun cursed silently in his heart. He knew very well the kind of person His Highness is. His HIghness will never go pull that ugly cow into the water. She must have jumped in herself to go pester HIs Highness!

He really could not tolerate the girl’s shamelessness anymore. He took a step forward and knelt with one knee to say.

“Your Highness, I have something regarding Mu Wushuang to report to you!”

Sooo, why did the female lead insist on going to see the guy? She has said absolutely nothing, all she has done is respond to his flirting. So what the heck was the purpose of her visit? She is the one who demanded entry but she initiates no conversation at all.
