Chapter 38.3: Interesting Souls Are One In A Million
People in the crowd were all shaking their heads and pointing their fingers at the pair of siblings.
When the Young Lord heard Mu Wushuang’s words, his heart was delighted. Afraid that she would go back on her word, he immediately said to her: “Why would I not dare to accept? With so many people here as my witness, I, as the Honourary Young Lord, hereby officially accept the challenge! To duel Mu Yuheng to the death!”
“In that case, let’s write up a duel agreement to be sealed in blood, in case you decide to turn tail and back out like a coward!” Mu Wushuang said with a smile on her lips.
“Has she gone mad? Duel agreement sealed in blood? There would be no way of backing out of it anymore!”
Everyone was looking at Mu Wushuang like they were looking at a lunatic. What kind of a grudge could she possibly have against her younger brother that she had to send him to his doom like that! ?
“Write it up right now! I’m afraid that Mu Yuheng would not dare to seal the agreement!” The Young Lord said tauntingly.
Mu Yuheng who had managed to maintain his calm then turned to look at his elder sister. He knew that she would never want to harm him in any way, and she was giving him such a reassuring look in her eyes. Although he knew that there was no way he would be able to win the minor Young Lord, but his heart was strangely calm and at peace, not flustered in the slightest.
Even if he is going to die, he would want to die a little more gloriously. It would be more dignified than dying from sickness without anyone knowing at all. Mu Yuheng thought to himself in his heart.
So he went on to go get a piece of parchment from the shopkeeper in the shop next door without any expression on his face, and then bit on his finger to draft up the duel agreement in his blood. At the moment when Mu Yuheng and the Young Lord put their thumbprints onto the agreement with their own blood at the same time, a beam of light came down from the Heavens and sank into their foreheads between their brows.

If one of them tries to back out of it like a coward, it would be a breach of the agreement made in blood, and that person would suffer the wrath of Heaven. That was why shock showed on so many people’s faces when they heard Mu Wushuang say they would seal the agreement to duel in blood.
Seeing that the blood agreement had been sealed, the corners of Mu Wushuang’s lips curved up in a scornful smile, and she looked at the Young Lord as if she was looking at a dead person walking.
We are here to seek vengeance, and you, the Honourary Young Lord, will be the first one that is sentenced to death!
“Young Miss, the auction will begin very soon.”
Steward Wang spoke up right at that moment.
“Mm.” Mu Wushuang nodded slightly, and then held her beautiful little brother’s hand as she tossed the Young Lord a piece of advice. “Young Lord, you have better take it easy with what you do behind closed doors. Don’t end up dying in a woman’s bosom before the day of the duel, and end up becoming the butt of everyone’s jokes.”
“You just wait. Wait till I’ve killed your little brother, and I’ll see how sharp that tongue of yours can be!” The Young Lord said vehemently, his face an ugly green shade.
Waiting till Mu Wushuang and her people had left, the young lord then whispered something to his servant’s ear. The servant immediately nodded his head and went running off into the distance.
