Chapter 48.2: Utterly Shameless Thug

Mu Wushuang could still remember Ximen Kang’s icy cold gaze that was filled with so much disgust back when she had just passed through time to come into this world. She could still remember how he had nearly cut off her head with a single slash of his sword, and she could clearly recall how he had mercilessly sent the original owner of this body flying into the wall with a mighty kick.

She laughed coldly to herself inside her heart. For Ximen Kang to become so gentle with her all of a sudden, it must be because he wanted something she was holding.

He had detested her and wanted her dead not so long ago but was now suddenly being so gentle and caring when in need?

Does this person really think that she is such a moron to be deceived so easily?

The corners of her mouth raised up.

A sliver of scorn glinted briefly in Ximen Kang’s eyes when he saw Mu Wushuang smile. This useless good for nothing is really so easy to deceive. He had just needed to smile at her and she is already losing her head.

“Wushuang, let’s go.”

Ximen Kang put on a show of a caring gentleman as he stretched out a hand. He could almost imagine how overwhelmed she would be with joy to be able to hold his hand. For the sake of the Dark Red Lotus and the Dimension Stone, he’ll allow her to take advantage of him for once. And all those Minor Recovery Elixirs, seeing that she had tried so hard to get him to pay her some attention, he would not take them all, but leave her one elixir to keep for herself.

Young Miss! No!

Yun Hao thought to himself as his face turned frantic, and he was just about to go stand in front of Mu Wushuang to block her off, not wanting Mu Wushuang to touch the Fourth Prince’s hand at all!

The Young Miss was acknowledged by His Highness as his future Prince Consort, so she must not have any skin contact with another man!

Yun Hao already one foot put forward when he heard the Young Miss’ voice sound out with a sneer.

“Eh, who are you to think that you are even worthy of touching my hand?”

Mu Wushuang said in arrogance, and then turned herself away without giving Ximen Kang a single glance, so she did not see the dark ugly shade that came onto the man’s face. She went on to ask Manager Li to fetch the big hammer she wanted earlier, so that she could be done with things here.

“Let this highly practical and strong weapon be a gift to the Young Master. Will the Young Master leave a contact address so that I can pay back the rest of the money to you.”

“I’ve already said that the money is a gift and you need not return it.” Song Yiyang continued to insist. He accepted the great hammer and looked at it for a moment before nodding his head in satisfaction. “Thank you Miss Wushuang. My humble self likes this great hammer very much as it matches my person very well.”

Mu Wushuang smiled lightly and said: “Since you do not want me to return you the money, I must definitely give you a better gift if an opportunity arises for us to meet again.”

“My humble self will be looking forward to that.” Song Yiyang said with a devilishly charming smile on his face. “I really believe that I will come to meet Miss Wushuang again very soon.”

Mu Wushuang smiled beamingly. She was rather keen to meet with this handsome red clothed man again, but next time, she would first rid herself of the Imperial Uncle’s people around her.

The gloomy faced Ximen Kang walked up to her at that moment and he put on his most tender voice to say to her: “Wushuang, stop throwing a tantrum with this Prince already. It was all this Prince’s fault in the past, let’s forget it all and I’ll let you beat or scold me as you wish alright?”

He knew that she was intentionally being so friendly with another man here just to antagonize him, which just showed that she still had a place for him in her heart.
