Chapter 5.2: Wanna save her? You’re Not Qualified!
“Old Liu, my younger second sis died so pitifully. Xue Er begs that you will help avenge her death. If you were not trying to protect me and the Fourth Prince here, she would not have died at my vicious Third Sis’ ruthless hands…..” Mu Ningxue said so very sadly, tears brimming up in her red rimmed eyes, her face filled with regret and self admonishment, looking like she wished for nothing more than to die in Mu Ningxuan’s place, her act flawless, an absolutely stellar performance.
Even Mu Wushaung wanted to applaud the young lady. Ximen Kang had clearly pushed Mu Ningxuan out to send her to her death and it was really unbelievable how this woman here was able to distort the truth so shamelessly.
“Eldest Young Miss can be assured that this old man would not let this evil spawn with such a vicious heart continue to live in this world!” Old Liu proclaimed in a stern voice.
Mu Wushuang’s eyes became tinged with frost. Evil spawn? Who is the bestial animal without any sense of morals in her heart here?
She leapt down from the silver winged tiger’s back and turned her head towards her younger brother, the handsome looking Mu Yuheng, the look in her eyes softening quite a bit before she said: “My beautiful little brother, your elder sis is going to get into a fight and I am afraid that the blood might splatter onto you. Will you ride Little Tiger here and go somewhere a little further away from here?”
The expression on her handsome looking younger brother’s face changed slightly, mild anger slowly coming to rise up in his eyes as he stood there resolutely in his spot, refusing to move a single inch.
Do you think I am a fool? If I ride the silver winged tiger away, you will lose your strongest helper here. How are you then going to be able to defeat all of them?
Mu Yuheng knew that his elder sister wanted to protect him by getting him to escape from this place. But how could he possibly leave her behind here on her own! ?
He hated himself for being so useless, hated himself for being unable to speak, hating the fact that at a time like this, he was not even able to tell his sister that he would stand through thick and thin with her.
“Seeking to run away? The two of you need not think of leaving this place today without laying your lives down!”
Old Liu spoke in a sinister voice when his body suddenly shot into action, fierce and aggressive. The other two old men had sprung into action as well, and it was clear to see that they had joined forces, seeking to eradicate the pair of young siblings here on the spot!
The crowd of spectators hid cowardly behind doors and someone sighed regretfully inside. Mu Wushuang was the one and only Summoner to have appeared in the past thousands of years. Who would have thought that it would turn out to be so utterly short lived, just a mere flash in the pan?
