Chapter 52.3: Playing Games To Win Favour

Mu Wushuang could not endure the itch that came over her hands to go pinch the youth’s cheeks that were slowly becoming rosy, and also did not forget to motivate and encourage him as well.

Wherever one fell down at, one must get up from that same spot.

Only when stepping on the bodies of one’s enemies, would one be able to reach higher and further.

“I….. won’t….. for….. get.” I will cut off his head with my own hands to celebrate my recovery.

Mu Wushuang smiled. Her beautiful little brother was smart and intelligent, and even though he was starting all over again, he was a force that that weak kidneyed young little lordling would not be able to stand against.

“Shuang Er.”

Long Moshen’s face had turned to show an extremely ugly shade.

But someone was completely oblivious to it as she looked at the Imperial Uncle and asked in puzzlement: “What’s wrong Imperial Uncle?”

“All of them are incompetent fools, do you think they deserved to be executed?”

Long Moshen’s frosty gaze swept over the group of Imperial Physicians.

The Imperial Physicians panicked. Young Master Mu is fine now, why do they still have to be killed? Their hearts really would not be able to take it jumping consecutively from terror to euphoria and then terror again within such a short period of time!

“My little brother is alright now. Why does Imperial Uncle still want to kill them?”

Mu Wushuang rushed her way over. She didn’t want the innocent to be implicated for their sake and she thought the Imperial Physicians did not do any wrong.

“Their incompetence.”

He meant that she saved her little brother and not them. So they were incompetent.

The bunch of Imperial Physicians were almost about to faint.

“Imperial Uncle, come, have some grapes to dissipate your anger!”

Mu Wushuang quickly tried to get a firm hold of the Imperial Uncle before she would persuade him slowly, so that he would not go around killing people at the slightest affront to him. At least kill people who did not know what’s good for themselves if he had to kill, this was a bunch of Imperial Physicians, good and proper professionals, and they were so pitiful.

She picked up the grapes on the table and even went on to conscientiously peel off its skin before she brought it up to the Imperial Uncle’s mouth with a wide smile.

As the saying goes, one should not reach their hand out to slap a smiling person. Just as expected, the Imperial Uncle was willing to give her some face as he ate the grape without any expression on his face.

Mu Wushuang went on to peel the skin off a whole bunch of grapes smilingly for him. When it was seen that his face was gradually becoming less frosty, she then spoke up: “Imperial Uncle, don’t you think they’ve worked rather hard even if they did not gain merit? Let them leave will you? It’s already so late now, and it’s time for them to go back to have dinner.”

Long Moshen arched up an eyebrow slightly and grunted a soft “Mm” in agreement.

The bunch of Imperial Physicians immediately fell to their knees to kowtow like their life saviour had appeared before them, expressing the gratitude for the benevolence shown to them and for sparing their lives before they quickly scuttled their way out of there in a hurry, their hearts thinking this had really just been too hallowing and they would never come here again! If not for Mu Wushuang, they would have left their lives behind there in that place.

Mu Yuheng was sitting up with his back leaning against the bed head as he watched the grim faced Long Moshen, his heart sniffing scornfully to himself in contempt: Don’t think I cannot see that you’re just trying to win her affection here! You sly scheming man!

Long Moshen’s gaze passed over Mu Yuheng very briefly and he then said to Mu Wushuang: “Shuang Er, accompany this Prince for the meal.”
