Chapter 65.1: A Duel to the Death

 

“Young Miss, why has the Young Master not come out yet? It’s almost time for the scheduled duel!”

Sang Lane asked frantically as she looked upon Mu Yuheng’s tightly closed door. It was already high noon and there was only an hour’s time till the time for the duel with the Honorary Young Lord and Young Master Mu still had not come out from his closed door cultivation, so she was a little anxious. 

She turned her head around but saw that the Young Miss’ face did not show the slightest bit of anxiety and was just seated languidly on a cane chair under the pavilion, a faint smile splayed across her countenance with skin smooth as white jade, looking confident like she had complete control.

“Relax Sang Lan. When the time comes, he will naturally come out himself.”

Mu Wushuang slowly took a sip of tea, and then let out a soft sigh.

No one would place more importance on today’s duel than him, as today was a critical turning point for him to say goodbye to an unbearable part of his past. “Yuheng, let your elder sis teach you something good.”

Mu Wushuang pulled him inside the door with a smile on her face. When they came out, the air around Mu Yuheng had become more restrained, and the swirl of spirit power he emanated could no longer be felt, seemingly having turned back into the good for nothing youth he had been before.

The sister and brother pair exchanged a glance and then laughed evilly aloud.
