Chapter 69.1: Is Your Family’s Little Snake Having a Stroke
“If you’re really so free to be asking me that here, shouldn’t you be running to that Martial God Sect’s Holy Son you were with just now to make him unswervingly devoted to you, in case that he comes to discover your true face one day and starts to avoid you like a venomous viper.”
Mu Wushuang said slowly in an indifferently lazy tone, with one eyebrow arched up.
Really pity that Holy Son for being so blind to fall so deeply for a hypocritical woman like Mu Ningwei, and Mu Ningwei was still of two hearts about it, trying to latch on to so many other men, not learning to cherish him. The day would come that she would come to regret it.
Upon saying that, Mu Wushuang really could not be bothered to see Mu Ningwei’s twisted face but just put on her veil and slowly made her way out while holding her drunk beautiful little brother.
“Sis, I’m really so happy.”
Inside the horse carriage, her beautiful little brother’s face was flushed as he obediently leaned his head on her shoulder, his eyes closed and his long eyelashes lowered while a happy smile hung on his lips, looking like he was having a nice dream.
Mu Wushuang then heard him say something in his sleep.
“I know that you are feeling happy, and I am also happy for you. Your inner demons have been purged, and your sis here is waiting to see you soar your way towards the Heavens from now on.”
Mu Wushuang said with a comforted smile as she stroked his head tenderly.
Mu Yuheng smacked his lips in his sleep and fell deeper into his dreams.
After tucking him in properly after they got back, Mu Wushuang gave a helpless shrug and then made her way back to her room.
“Wah! That is a beauty over there! She’s just too beautiful! Stunning pearly whites, smooth firm skin, daintily enchanting, she must be a fairy that descended from the Heavens. Her looks could bring ruin to a country, beautiful like a flower, a rare beauty under the Heavens, putting the moon and blossoms to shame, absolutely mesmerizing……”
A familiar sounding voice but one she felt like bashing up suddenly rang out from behind.
A twitch came onto the corner of her eye. She turned around and saw the exquisitely handsome Imperial Uncle seated on his wheelchair. “Imperial Uncle, is your family’s little snake there suffering from a stroke?”
“This little lord is not a snake! A dragon! I’m a dragon!”
The little green dragon hovering in midair was filled with indignant rage as it cried out loudly.
It then spotted the cold glint in its Master’s gaze and it quickly reversed its tone to say hastily: “Actually little snake doesn’t really sound all that bad. If the great beauty Wushuang calls me that, I will be deeply honoured.”
Mu Wushuang’s teeth hurt so much they were almost going to fall out. Which play is the little green dragon acting out now?
Hasn’t it been calling her a stinky woman all this while? Why has it changed its tone all of a sudden?
“No don’t. Do not address me like that. It’s really just too much for me to take.”
She raised a palm to shake it before her in horror. That little snake’s words were too overly exaggerated, and it made her feel that it was hiding sinister intentions.
The little green dragon grew panicked, and quickly cried out.
“Big Sister Wushuang! Great Dame Wushuang! Grand Ancestor Wushuang! Which form of address do you like? I will just change it to suit your liking!”
It had begged and pleaded so hard before its Master relented and let it come out. It really wouldn’t want to remain in the dark inky blackness of that divine ring anymore!
