Chapter 7.2: Imperial Uncle, I Can’t Walk Anymore
Mu Wushuang raised her eyes to peer at the sedan. It was said that the man inside was a merciless tyrant who kills without any hesitation, and anyone who blocks his way would die an unimaginably horrible death. So is she going to die at this person’s hands today?
No! She is Mu Wushuang, and will never await death without a fight!
An endless stream of information about the Prince Regent, Long Moshen, flashed through her mind. The corners of her lips suddenly curled up. If she was going to die either way, why not try her luck one last time at least?
“Imperial Uncle, I am Shuang Er! Your little bride to be!” She summoned all her strength to say as loudly as she could.
When the guards heard those words, a corner of their mouths twitched. Our lord His Highness couldn’t possibly want to have a bride to be as fat as you!
“What audacity!”
The guards drew their swords and pointed them at Mu Wushuang.
Everyone else was frozen in shock, not daring to even gasp too loudly. That Mu Wushuang was really just too bold! What kind of a play is she acting out on now? She couldn’t possibly think that the Prince Regent would save her right! ? That man was well known to be cold blooded and heartless! All the beautiful sultry tramps who had tried to get close to the man in the past had died such horrible deaths!
Ximen Kang and Mu Ningxue exchanged glances and laughed coldly to themselves. With no way out, Mu Wushuang had actually turned her sights onto the Prince Regent! They wouldn’t have to do anything now but just wait to see how the Prince Regent would make her die an even more horrible death!
A slender finger lifted the curtain on the sedan chair, to reveal a flawlessly handsome looking face behind it. Sunlight splashed across his chiseled and highly defined facial features, beautifully outlined starkly by contrasting shadows. His facial features were beautiful like perfect and flawless jade, the face proud and aloof with a sharp nose bridge, his thin lips emotionless like still waters. Especially that pair of slanted and endlessly deep eyes, that seemed to hold cold twinkling stars under the dark night sky, its gaze one that people found hard to look straight into.
Everyone there held their breaths at that moment, waiting for the Prince Regent to give the order to have Mu Wushuang executed in the very next instant.
However…..
The only thing they saw was the Prince Regent lifting up his gaze, his eyes deep and unfathomable as the vast oceans, a cold chilly air emanating from his body warning people to stay away. That gaze fell onto the figure of Mu Wushuang, and his deep low voice probed: “Shuang Er?”
Just as everyone thought that the Prince Regent would have her executed right there on the spot, they saw the Prince Regent’s gaze deepen, and the tone of his voice changed as he beckoned at Mu Wushuang with a hand: “Shuang Er, come here.”
Slap slap!
Resounding loud face slaps!
The Prince Regent did not order for the girl to be executed, but had asked her to go over to him!
That was completely not what they had imagined! Everyone was struck dumb with utter disbelief. If it was a beautiful young lady, it might make some sense that the Prince Regent might have beckoned for her to go over in a moment of desire, but….. Could the Prince Regent have such unique tastes, preferring fat women like this?
Mu Wushuang had not thought that the Prince Regent would actually be so good looking. That perfect and icy looking face would surely make any woman swoon! She was a complete glutton for beautiful faces through and through and she would readily give full marks to this face of Long Moshen!
The glint in her eyes changed fluidly as she put on a pitiful look on her face.
“I am unable to walk anymore, Imperial Uncle~”
She cried out in a weak voice.
