Chapter 70.1: Just GIve Up On that Thought

 

Knowing that Mu Wushuang was moving back to the Hou Manor, the happiest person would have to be Liu Jiaojiao.

Liu Jiaojiao had not stepped out through her room doors for more than ten days already, because of the embarrassment she had caused the Princess to suffer back at the banquet. The Princess had vented all her anger on Liu Jiaojiao, beating her up till her head had swelled up like a pig’s, and she even lost two of her teeth, looking so ugly that she did not dare come out to let anyone see her. 

But today, she had come out especially to see off Mu Wushuang and her younger brother, and you could see how happy she was about it.

“Little Sister Wushuang, isn’t my Brother cousin a little too much? Why doesn’t he ask you to stay? Once you’re out of the Prince’s palace, it will not be safe for you anymore. You must know that the world outside is filled with all kinds of evil and villainous people and you’ve even offended the Second Prince. The Second Prince might just come to seek revenge upon the two of you.”

Liu Jiaojiao wore a veil covering her face and it could be seen that her face was still a little swollen and the blue black bruises had not completely dissipated, but the glee in her face shone brightly unconcealed.

See, hasn’t Long Moshen been highly protective of you? But when things come to a head, isn’t he tossing you out in the end? Which just means that you do not mean all that much to him afterall!

If Long Moshen really intended to protect her, why would he let her go back to the Hou Manor at such a juncture?

Mu Wushuang shot back with a bright smile on her face.

Liu Jiaojiao subconsciously raised her hand up to touch the corners of her eyes but she quickly realized that Mu Wushuang was just ridiculing her and she retorted scornfully: “Mu Wushuang, you won’t be able to be so full of yourself for long.”

The Second Prince treasured that son of his as much as his own life and now that Mu Yuheng had killed the young lordling, the Second Prince would surely come to exact revenge upon them!

She strongly believed that it would not be long that she would hear news of Mu Wushuang’s death!

The girl was about to die and she won’t be able to run that mouth off much longer!

With that thought in mind, Liu Jiaojiao’s eyes shone with a vicious smile.

The guard Feng Yun standing behind Liu Jiaojiao was smiling scornfully as well. He bore a grudge against Mu Wushuang but was not able to avenge himself. This was just great now that the useless good for nothing was leaving, and delivering herself to her own death!

And Yun Hao was also following the girl to go to the Hou Manor, and he would finally be able to stand with his back straightened here in the Prince Regent’s palace.

Recently, it was not known what kind of fortuitous encounter Yun Hao had met with for his cultivation to soar by leaps and bounds, towering right over his head. Many of the guards were saying that Yun Hao was going to take over his position as Captain of the guards but it seemed like His Highness did not value Yun Hao and had sent him away from the palace.
