Chapter 70.3: Just GIve Up On that Thought

“Yun Hao.”

Mu Wushuang swung her gaze over to Yun Hao.

Yun Hao understood that look and immediately went crashing into the guards to beat the faces of the two of them black and blue, till they lay almost dying under his feet on the ground.

Quite a number of people have gathered to watch and Yun Hao spat out in a loud voice that reached everyone’s ears: “Where did these impudent knaves come from? How is it possible that you do not even recognize the Young Miss and Young Master from the manor itself? Tell me now, who ordered you to make things difficult on purpose here! ?”

“Spare our lives! It’s…..” The guard begged for his life on the floor, and was just about to tell on Lady Zhang.

“What is going on here? Why is there such a racket! ? Eh? Wushuang and Yuheng, you’ve come back!”

It could not be anymore coincidental but the Second Aunt Lady Zhang came walking out with her eldest daughter Mu Ningxue through those doors right at that most opportune moment, just in time to interrupt the unruly knave’s words.

And every single one of her words insinuated that the two siblings were the ones causing trouble here, and creating such a din the moment they came back.

Lady Zhang was greatly surprised. Is that shapely and voluptuous woman out there really Mu Wushuang? When did she manage to lose so much weight? Although that face still carried a little baby fat, it faintly showed a hint of mesmerizing beauty beneath. If her voice had not remained unchanged, she would almost have mistaken her for another person altogether.

“Second Aunt, haven’t your whole family severed all ties with the Hou Manor? Why have all of you moved into the manor? And the speed you people moved in is even faster than us, the owners of the Hou Manor.”

Mu Wushuang’s tone was nonchalantly sarcastic.

The faces of Lady Zhang’s and Mu Ningxue’s looked a little awkward as a number of people pointed their fingers at them and muttered softly among themselves. They couldn’t possibly be saying anything good.

She had initially wanted to put the pair of siblings in their place by showing who’s boss around here. Who knew that she would turn to become the butt of the joke these outsiders were murmuring instead?

Mu Ningxue then spoke up in a gentle voice: “Third Sis, what are you saying here? We moved out because we were deceived and instigated by evil people, and it was not our intention at all. Even the Emperor said that the Hou Manor should not split, so we would naturally have to move back in to live together. The reason we moved ourselves in here first is so that we can give the restored Hou Manor a round of cleaning to let the two of you live more comfortably.”

Of course they would want to move into the Hou Manor. The Hou Manor was vast and had so much space, and all the furniture were completely new. With the Hou Manor’s noble status, everything they got was of the best quality, and the house was at least five to six times bigger than the courtyard the branch family purchased outside. They stood to gain so much benefit here, so how could they possibly want to live outside?

Clean up the place? It is feared that they just wanted to snatch up the best courtyards first!

Mu Wushuang laughed out in scorn inside her heart. The second branch family are really bringing shamelessness to brand new heights.

But, are they thinking to live comfortably here?

A sliver of cold icy mirth glinted chillingly in her eyes.

They can just give up on that thought. Maybe in their next lives!

With her around, the second branch family can only dream of having a good night’s sleep.
