Chapter 76.2: Want to Take a Concubine

 

He had originally intended to go purchase it immediately after bringing Mu Wushuang’s money back. Who knew that Mu Wushuang would go place the money in a bank and would refuse to take it out instead? So he had no choice but to ask her directly now.

As her younger cousin, isn’t it normal for her to buy a weapon for him as a gift? Moreover, she has so much money and she would just have to take out one hundred thousand gold taels for him.

Mu Wushuang’s mouth curled up faintly in a sneer. She should be made a generous fool just because she’s rich? What kind of a logic is that? Based on what he said, then since Jack Ma from her previous life was so filthy rich, then he should go around buying everyone things?

Mu Wushuang arched up an eyebrow and then said to her beautiful little brother.

Mu Yuwen’s mouth fell agape as his face turned an unnatural colour. Mu Yuheng had become a handicapped person back then and was unable to put that nice weapon to any use! What is wrong with taking it from him? Better than leaving it with a cripple who had no use for it!

Moreover, what he meant was not for her to buy one for Mu Yuheng but for him! But as Mu Wushuang words had been succinct and clear in meaning, he just could not make himself ask her again no matter how thick the skin on his face was.

Mu Wushuang curved up the ends of her lips. Mu Yuwen was still very young and the skin on his face wasn’t as thick as the others in the second branch family. But, the day would surely come when Mu Yuwen would become as shameless and thick skinned as them, a family of the same exotic species.

Lady Wang was not about to let things rest like that. If Mu Wushuang was not made to bleed a little today, she was not going to allow her to step through that door!

However, it was just at that moment that a servant girl came running over in a hurry.

“Second Madam, oh no. Second Old Master brought a woman into the manor through the back door!”

“What? !”

Lady Wang’s face went pale, the rouge and powder on her face almost dropping off as her face sank. But she was clearly oblivious to all that, unable to even bother herself with Mu Wushuang and her younger brother anymore as she said hatefully in a jealous voice.

“I would really like to see what kind of a vixen could have gotten the Old Master so mesmerized to make him dare to bring her right into the Hou Manor!”

As she spoke, she went off in a hurry inside, and could no longer be seen in a heartbeat. Mu Yuwen quickly followed his mother inside.

When Mu Yuheng saw the sly smile at the corners of his sister lips, he smiled along with her, his handsome looking face seeming to bloom.

He did not have to think and immediately knew that this had something to do with his black bellied elder sister.

“Come on, let’s go watch the spectacle.”

The sibling pair glanced at each other in tacit understanding, before they made their way inside unhurriedly.

From a far distance away, they could already hear the sounds of Lady Wang wailing and kicking up a huge fuss.
