Chapter 87.2: Kicking Liu Jiaojiao Out of the Palace

Feng Yun was a little happy to hear that, because he did like the lady cousin very much. He was already very happy that he was able to see her everyday and if he could stay right by her side from now onwards, that would be even better.

“Yun Hai.”

“Your subordinate is present.” The guard Yun Hai came walking in.

“You’ll take over Feng Yun’s position from now on.”

Long Moshen went on to say.

Those words stunned Feng Yun in his spot. “Your Highness, what does this mean?”

But Long Moshen did not give him a glance as he ordered Yun Hai to escort Liu Jiaojiao out of the palace.

Feng Yun walked out of the Prince Regent’s palace depressed and dispirited. Someone had thrown his bundle of possessions outside on the ground, and many of the other guards were looking at him with mocking sniggers.

For the sake of that fake lady cousin, Feng Yun actually dared to offend His Highness. Good for him. Now that His Highness has thrown him out of the palace, he can go protect Liu Jiaojiao with all his heart. Isn’t that better for him?

Feng Yun had never once thought that he would leave the Prince Regent’s palace in such a manner.

He had lived in the Prince Regent’s palace for close to ten years and people have been respectful to him because of his position as Long Moshen’s Guard Captain. But now, all of that is gone!

He does not blame Liu Jiaojiao one bit, but hates Mu Wushuang for it. Mu Wushuang must have said something before His Highness and that is why His Highness is kicking him out now, using Liu Jiaojiao as an excuse!

Over on Liu Jiaojiao’s side, she was comfortably leaned back on a plush lounge as a serving maid stained her nails with flower petals, another two serving maids fanning her at the side, and a fourth serving maid serving her tea, languishing in absolute comfort.

Back when she was still at the brothel, she only had one maid serving her and she had to do many things herself. In the past two years she was here in the Prince Regent’s palace, she had never been more content.

Wait till the day she becomes the lady of the house in this vast palace. She will then have even more people at her beck and call.

Liu Jiaojiao thought to herself happily.

Right at that moment, Yun Hao came to her courtyard with Steward Wang in tow.

“Liu Jiaojiao, the Prince Regent’s palace no longer welcomes you here. Please move out from here immediately!”

Yun Hai said in a curt voice.

As His Highness ordered for Liu Jiaojiao to be escorted out of here, there was no need for him to extend any courtesy to the woman.

“What audacity! How dare a lowly knave speak to the lady cousin in such a manner?” Liu Jiaojiao’s personal maid immediately stepped forward to admonish the guard.

Liu Jiaojiao’s heart panicked for a moment but settled back down quickly. She is His Highness’ living antidote, so how could His Highness possibly want to drive her out of the palace?

What the guard just said is really laughable.

“Ding Xiang, do not be rude. Could the guard and Steward Wang here be mistaken in some way? Why would my brother cousin chase me out of the palace?” Liu Jiaojiao stood up slowly as she asked in a gentle tone.
