Chapter 90.2: Tenderness Only For One’s Beloved
Xin Er quickened her steps to follow Mu Yuande as well. She still needed to go flame the flames as she cannot allow Mu Yuande to feel guilty towards Lady Wang.
Hence, only Mu Yuheng was left standing there at the Hou Manor’s main doors.
A corner of his lips raised up slightly in a smirk. Big Sis is really quite brilliant. With the addition of just one Xin Er into the mix, the second branch family has already been thrown into such turmoil.

“Your Highness, Young Miss is still sleeping. Does Your Highness want your servant to go wake the Young Miss?” Upon reaching the courtyard, Sang Lan saw that the room doors were still tightly shut, and she quickly turned to ask Long Moshen.
“No need. You can be dismissed.”
“Huh? …..” Sang Lan’s head snapped up. But upon seeing His Highness’ penetrating gaze, she cowered and said submissively: “Oh, then….. your servant shall take her leave.”
Young Miss, you’re on your own now. Your servant is unable to help you anymore.
After Sang Lan left, Long Moshen dismissed Long Yi and Long Er, and then pushed the door into Mu Wushuang’s sleeping chambers open.
Mu Wushuang was deep in sleep. She had spent the whole night researching the poison in the Imperial Uncle’s blood, which was the equivalent of forgoing sleep for a few days. Hence, she had fallen into a sound sleep the moment her head touched the pillow.
When Long Moshen came in, a soft breeze slightly lifted the light gauze hanging over the bed, faintly revealing the sleeping figure lying behind. She was thinly dressed as it was summer, her sleeping posture enticing as she hugged a pillow with a leg sticking out over the blanket, her skin soft and fair the further it was above the ankle.
The air was spilling over with seduction, as allure filled the room.
The rise and fall on that svelte figure on the bed as the young lady breathed caused even the adam’s apple on the indomitably glacial Prince Regent to constrict, and a primal male instinct inside him to stir.
His hand clasped the young lady’s smooth cheek. His palm could almost grasp the young lady’s face entirely. He caressed her cheek gently, his deep grim gaze drifting somewhere else, as his hand slid lower uncontrollably.
The colour of his eyes deepened, before finally turning a highly alluring violet.
“Mm~”
Mu Wushuang’s body turned, a soft groan escaping from her lips.
She was really just too exhausted, and thought that she was still in her dreams, a seductive wet dream. Fingers that felt a little rough brushed gently over her skin, making her feel light and tingly all over.
It was just a dream, so there was no need for any restrain, not in the slightest!
Long Moshen’s large hand froze at the moment Mu Wushuang turned her body, a sliver of guilt flashing deep in his eyes.
But the young lady did not wake, but the look on her face seemed like she was enjoying it very much. His hand could not help moving to tug sharply, like he was going to undo the band holding her robe, as he pressed himself onto her.
“Oww~”
Mu Wushuang unconsciously let out a soft yelp, her brows knitting together in discomfort.
“Shuang Er.”
Long Moshen’s hand moved up, to gently massage the furrowed brows soothingly, as his lips called out her name.
Seeing the crease on the young lady’s brow ease as she continued to slumber, the man pulled his hand back reluctantly, his fevered eyes gradually turning clear. But they did not turn to become cold and aloof like always, but carried a tinge of tenderness that did not fade.
Tenderness only for one’s beloved.
