Chapter 92.2: My Father and Mother Are Still Alive?
Mu Wushuang was also rather puzzled. From this body’s original memories, she remembered that her parents failed to come back after they went into the mountains for training. People have said that they were eaten up by demon beasts and there wouldn’t even be any bones left for them to find.
So why is Grandfather suddenly telling them he went out to look for their parents?
Mu Guobang shook his head, the expression on his face grave and solemn as he said.
“I had thought that they were dead back then as well. But I have not given up on finding them. This time, I finally managed to find some leads that told me they are not dead, but they have hidden themselves deep inside the Fallen Cloud Mountain Ranges in order to escape from assassins. The lead told me they had stayed deep in the inner reaches of the mountain ranges for three whole months. I followed every single trace I could find and they finally led me to the place they had last stayed at. It was a dimensional rift in time and space and the lead came to an end right there.”
“Does Grandfather mean to say that our parents have hidden themselves within a dimensional space?” Mu Yuheng asked anxiously.
“They probably had no other way out but to go into the dimensional rift. No one knows where they could have drifted to from there and it is highly possible they are no longer here on the Nine Heavens Continent anymore.”
Mu Guobang said solemnly.
“Grandfather hopes that the two of you do not give up on finding them. Even if they have gone to another continent, you are all still each other’s closest blood kin and when you come to meet each other, the blood you share will give you a hint. Grandfather is already old and will not be able to reach the Spirit Reverend level to cross over onto other continents. However, that is not the case for the two of you here. You are still young and you both possess extraordinary gift. You two will surely grow to become highly powerful and see the day that you attain the Spirit Reverend level. You will then be able to pass through different continents to go search for your Father and Mother.”
Mu Guobang pulled two shiny black jade pendants out from inside his robe and handed one each to Mu Wushuang and Mu Yuheng. “Your mother left these pendants for the two of you and now that the two of you are all grown up, Grandfather thinks it’s time to hand them over to the two of you.”
“It’s a storage jade pendant?”
When the pendant was in Mu Wushuang’s hand, she swept her consciousness over it with a glance, and asked her Grandfather in surprise.
And she also found that the jade pendant felt a little familiar, as it looked very much like the invisible jade ring the Imperial Uncle wore on his hand, as both of them were made from the same material.
“That’s right, but it is not just any ordinary storage dimensional space. This one is also able to contain live creatures, which is something that ordinary storage artifacts cannot compare to at all, and it can turn invisible as well.”
Upon hearing that, a strange feeling rose up in Mu Wushuang’s heart.
