Chapter 95.1: A Trifling Trinket, Like a Toy

“This Prince can’t bear to.”

“Give this Prince a kiss and this Prince will release you.”

His deep low voice was carried by his slightly cool breath that brushed gently over her ear and neck, which felt a little ticklish. Mu Wushuang had not thought that the Imperial Uncle would become more and more thick skinned, where his face did not blush in the slightest or his heartbeat any faster while saying such words.

To think that he had always been a man of very few words, noble and aloof, but was acting like an old thuggish ruffian now.

He would not get a kiss just because he asked for one as that would only lead to him being spoiled rotten.

Hence, Mu Wushuang arched up an eyebrow as she looked at the man, and said smilingly to him: “Imperial Uncle has held my hand for so long and that is not enough? How can you still want more intimacy and are asking for a kiss? You can’t possibly have everything go your way like this you know.”

Long Moshen did not get angry and his face did not change, as if he had already expected that she would not give in to him that easily. He calmly stretched out a hand and a pristine green jade bracelet appeared in his palm. He then gently put it on around the young lady’s wrist.

“What is this?”

Mu Wushuang raised her wrist up to look. The lustrous green and highly translucent bracelet was made from some kind of jade, with eleven exquisite swords hanging from it, a refined and beautiful piece. She shook her wrist lightly, and a crisp clear clinking could be heard, a sound highly pleasing to the ears.

“It’s just a trifling trinket, like a toy.”

Long Moshen said indifferently.

Will the Imperial Uncle really give her a useless trinket as a gift? That is not his style at all.

Half doubting his words, Mu Wushuang threw her consciousness into the bracelet and gave it a probe. The very next instant, a green jadeite long sword appeared in her mind. The sword’s hilt was filled with ancient runes, a sinister chill emitting from the blade, the sword almost throbbing with murderous intent.

It felt as if once this sword was drawn, it would send all its enemies deep into the bones of Hell, its battlelust indomitable.

“A fantastic sword!”

Mu Wushuang’s eyes were sparkling brightly, immediately loving the jade sword very much.

This was a great sword that must have slayed countless spirits, a spirit artifact that could not possibly be below the ultimate grade.

It must be known that spirit artifacts are classified under inferior grade spirit artifacts, mid grade spirit artifacts, superior grade spirit artifacts, and ultimate grade spirit artifacts. Although there are still the higher grades of near divine artifact and divine artifact grades above them, near divine artifacts are so pitifully scarce, that people tend to disregard such a grade even existed. So an ultimate grade spirit artifact was considered to be the finest and the best spirit artifact one could find throughout the continent.

The Imperial Uncle said that it was just an insignificant toy for her to play with. If even an ultimate grade spirit artifact was a trifling toy to him, just how crudely filthy rich can the Imperial Uncle really be! ?

If other people were to know, they might just die from jealousy.

Though it was clear that the origins of this sword was definitely not ordinary and must have a strong and powerful owner in the past, the bracelet looked like it was forged recently, its lustre smooth and bright, the workmanship refined and exquisite.

Mu Wushuang raised her eyes to look at the man, and said with a wide smile on her face.

“Imperial Uncle, could this possibly be made by your own hands?”

“Does Shuang Er like it?” The Imperial Uncle responded with a question.

“I do.”

She had been thinking that she did not possess a handy weapon and she did not find anything she liked through the few rounds she made to the Scarlet Cloud Hall over the past two days. But with this jade sword bracelet that the Imperial Uncle gave her, she really liked them very much, both the powerful weapon and the beautiful accessory, as she could see the amount of thought he had put into the gift.
