Chapter 97.2: Self Conceited Narcissism
Hence she changed her mind, and put on her veil hat with her mood improved, before she went striding forward without looking back.
Left standing in his spot, Lin Yu gazed after the young lady for a moment, before he lifted his foot slowly to walk forward as well.
“This is where the accommodations this Crown Prince has arranged for everyone are. We will gather here tomorrow with the twenty people from this country, and make our way to the Fallen Cloud Mountain Ranges together.”
After walking for a while, the group came to a luxurious and exquisite looking inn. Song Yiyang stopped in his tracks and turned around to say to everyone.
It could immediately be seen that this must be the best inn throughout the Royal City, and they could see the heart that Song Yiyang had put into it. He had not been sloppy nor slipshod making the arrangements just because they were people he did not know who were from the Howling Moon Dynasty.
Everyone was allocated a room each before Song Yiyang sought out Mu Wushuang alone and spoke to her for a bit.
It was just to remind her of things to look out for here in the Royal City, like which are the places of interest etcetera. He could very well have just sent someone else to come tell her that, but he was not about to miss out on any opportunity to come interact with the young lady.
After he finished, it was time that he should make a trip back to the Royal Palace, and he left some words for her before they parted.
“Wushuang, we’re a little rushed for time as we will already be making our way to the Fallen Cloud Mountain Ranges tomorrow, so this Crown Prince is unable to bring you around to see some sights. Wait till the training trial is over and this Crown Prince will bring you on a tour of the Royal Palace, and to various other places in the Royal City. Yuheng and you should stay here for some time, and this Crown Prince will personally escort you back after you’re done.”
If she were to get her hands on the divine object, she would definitely not remain in the East Dawn Country for long so that she would avoid drawing attention to herself. Hence, she did not immediately agree, but just nodded her head with a smile, telling the Crown Prince that he must be very busy and he need not worry about her.
After Song Yiyang left, Mu Wushuang got her beautiful little brother with her, and was about to go out to have a look around.
Dusk was falling but it was the time where the Royal City’s West was most busy, the place bustling with activity. There was an underground black market there, and they had everything for sale there.
She had just taken a step out of the inn with her beautiful little brother when someone immediately came up to them from behind.
“Wushuang, where are the two of you going off to?”
Ximen Kang stood there elegantly with a fan in hand, fanning himself gently as he asked the two siblings.
“What business is it of yours at all?”
Mu Wushuang shot the man a glare, not understanding why this nitwit was approaching them at all.
He had clearly hated this body’s original owner so much that he had wanted to kill her with a kick, and everyone could see that the original owner of this body was a woman the Prince hated to the core. How could he have the face to still show up before her?
“You!”
Ximen Kang slapped his folding fan close with a swish, bristling with anger. He had already shown her goodwill by coming up to her personally and she was not appreciating it in the slightest!
“Wushuang, you do not need to throw such a tantrum with this Prince. It was all this Prince’s fault in the past. Now, this Prince has already admitted that I was wrong, and if you continue to be like this, it will really be too much.”
