Chapter 99.2: Stare Till Eyes Almost Popping Out
“That one’s alright.” Lin Yu nodded with a serious look on his face.
“…..” Mu Yuheng thought to himself. Who wants to hear your opinion! ?
“Alright.” Mu Wushuang clapped her hands and said to the shopkeeper. “Bring me… That piece and wrap it up for me!”
She pointed at the red piece that she first picked right at the beginning.
Mu Yueheng and Lin Yu had thought that she meant she was going to purchase the goose white piece when she said alright. Who would have known that she was not going to heed any of the opinions they’ve given but to still go ahead to purchase the first piece she saw?
Why did she even bother to ask them! ?
Lin Yu’s gaze fell upon the red piece and deep lines formed on his brow. He then said aloud: “Not that one.”
“Do I know you very well?” Mu Wushuang shot him a sharp glance, and said to the shopkeeper: “Why are you still standing there? Do you want the business or not?”
The shopkeeper quickly wrapped up the red piece of clothing for the young lady. He had been standing there in a daze because the customer was just too beautiful, her every smile and every frown captivating his soul.
After he accepted the money, the shopkeeper suddenly felt a chill run up his spine, unable to shake off an ominous feeling he had just earned the hatred of some mighty entity.
He rubbed his arms to drive off the goose pimples rising as he watched the three walk out.
It was not until they had gone a good distance away before the shopkeeper finally felt the chill gripping his heart start to dissipate.
Mu Wushuang continued to shop around for a good hour and picked up a few bargains before she made her way back to the inn, her footsteps light.
She chatted nonchalantly with her beautiful and good looking little brother, acting like they did not have another person following behind them at all.
“Get some early rest as we’ll be setting off for the secret realm tomorrow. The secret realm will be filled with all kinds of unknown dangers, so we will have to alert and keep our wits around us.”
Mu Wushuang said to her beautiful looking little brother when they reached outside their rooms.
“Mm.” Mu Yuheng nodded with a serious look on his face and then turned to glance at Lin Yu behind them. His brow creased up as he began to ask: “As for him…..”
“You go rest first. I will speak with him.” Mu Wushuang replied.
Mu Yuheng nodded and gave Lin Yu a warning glance before he retreated into his room.
“Come here.”
Mu Wushuang signalled to Lin Yu with a glance and went walking ahead, stopping only when they reached a place without other people.
When she stopped, the person following behind her stopped as well.
“Lin Yu, who are you really?”
Mu Wushuang stared into the guy’s unfamiliar eyes and asked sternly.
Lin Yu was silent.
“Not going to tell me?”
She arched up an eyebrow.
Long Yi was getting highly nervous within the shadows. How did Young Miss Mu discover that Lin Yu isn’t real?
The Young Miss did not know Lin Yu personally before this right?
“Doesn’t matter even if you don’t want to say anything. This Young Miss isn’t interested anyway.” Mu Wushuang intentionally said, and then turned with a swirl to go into her room before shutting the door tightly behind her.
“Hmph! Let’s see how you’ll continue to pretend tomorrow!” After she shut the door, the iciness faded from her face, replaced by a sly smile.
